This is Us

Our names are Dan and Lindy Broyles. We have three children. Our oldest son Peter, our daughter Lucy, and our youngest son Jack. We are both math teachers at The Bear Creek School located in Redmond, Washington. Our three children also attend the same school where we teach. Our main goal is to bring glory and worship to Jesus Christ, partnering with Him to expand His kingdom here on earth, and obeying Him with our very lives.  

Before returning to Washington State, we obeyed the call the Lord Jesus put on our hearts by becoming missionaries in Tanzania, East Africa from 2015 to 2019. By His grace, we partnered with Jesus in starting a small home ministry for orphans in and around the city of Dar es Salaam that is called Moyo Wakila Mama which is Swahili for, “Every Mother’s Heart.”   

We work alongside Hilbert and Neema Gondwe who are the parents of the orphan home. They are a Tanzanian couple with two biological children of their own (Ema and Jenny), whom the Lord has put a massive heart upon them for caring and supporting orphan children. We have been partnering with them since the beginning of Moyo Wakila Mama in 2016.
